In 2007, he stumbled upon Pescadero and Cerritos beach while camping and surfing, and decided that this was where he wanted to make his home.

Determined to become a part of the community, Mark found work managing construction with a local condo developer. This experience helped him gain invaluable knowledge of the area's real estate market and construction practices, and it fueled his passion for real estate.
